Hello Classic Car Owners Of All Ages - Cars and Owners!

Following the success of last year's Coronation Rally and to celebrate Fakenham Auto Club’s 25th Anniversary, we are pleased to confirm that in conjunction with Fakenham Town Council we will be holding a car rally on this date. All proceeds will go Fakenham Auto Club’s 2024 Charity Of The Year –NANSA who provide support to people with special educational needs and/or disabilities in Norfolk.

If you have a classic car we would love to see you on our rally.

Firstly and Importantly: To book your place please download and complete the entry form below and return this no later than 15th April. Details of where to send this and how to pay the £12 per car entry fee are given on the form. Please note that we will be finishing the rally in Fakenham Market Square where there are spaces for around 70 cars which will be the number of cars we are looking to book in to this event (no restriction though on the number of people per car). We expect there will be a strong demand, so places will be allocated on a strict first come first served basis. If we receive entries after this number has been met, we will look at other options including offering participating in the rally but parking up at the finish in one of the public car parks close to the Market Square, being put on a reserve list or having your entry fee refunded - we will, of course, agree this with anyone who is affected.

Secondly the details: We will be meeting up at The Gallow at Fakenham Racecourse at 9.15am where there will be the opportunity to buy refreshments -teas, coffees, pastries, sausage rolls bacon sandwiches etc and use their bathroom etc before we set off at 10.30am. Rally plaques and route details will be provided at The Gallow when you check in on arrival. The rally will cover approximately 50 miles along a scenic route and will finish around lunchtime in Fakenham Market Square, as mentioned above, which will be closed off for our cars and marshalled for ease of parking.

In conjunction with the Town Mayor we are arranging for music to be played in the town centre and have made arrangements for 2 establishments to provide picnic boxes which can be pre ordered to collect on arrival at the end of the rally. These can be eaten as you peruse the cars on display or, if you prefer, you could eat at one of the cafes/restaurants in Fakenham. If you choose this option you should check their Sunday opening hours in advance.

Further information will be issued to Rally entrants in due course when your completed entry form has been received and accepted.
